On 13th October, the La Baldufa Theatre Company performed at the Frankfurt Book Fair, one of four companies representing Catalonian children’s theatre.
Catalan culture was the guest of honour at the latest edition of the Fair, for this reason artists from all fields travelled to Frankfurt to present and transmit the Catalan culture. In the field of theatre, for all types of public, the guest companies were: Teatre Mòbil, Teatre Nu, Xirriquiteula and La Baldufa.
The performance was in Catalan but there was hardly an audience due to the lack of publicity on behalf of the fair organisers and also due to the theatre where the performance was held being quite a distance away from the fair. Despite this, the play was highly praised because it surprised the programmers in the audience. It served as an introduction of the company to the German market.
